Those that need new additions to their FlyEase collections have a bold LeBron Soldier 11 coming.
Laces aren’t for everyone and we often forget how difficult they actually are to use. Thankfully, Nike’s FlyEase system, which was developed by Tobie Hatfield and announced in 2015 with LeBron James after years of weartesting with Matthew Walzer, uses zippers for easy entry and Velcro straps for a lockdown fit.
“One of the key learnings we’ve had in crafting accessible footwear is the importance of easy entry and exit of the shoe, not just simplifying its fastening system,” said Tobie Hatfield, Nike Senior Director of Athlete Innovation, in a statement. “Eliminating the intricate hand movement of lace tying is important, but if the athlete cannot get their foot into the shoe, lacing becomes a moot point.”
Now, a new grade school LeBron Soldier 11 FlyEase has surfaced online. Emblazoned with LeBron’s WTNSS branding, the shoe uses a simple black and white colorway. Expect it to hit Nike.com shortly for $130 in men’s and $110 in Big Kids alongside new builds of the Zoom Pegasus 35 FlyEase running shoe.
