New Images of Kobe Bryant’s Laceless Nike Kobe AD NXT

New images of Kobe Bryant’s laceless Nike Kobe AD NXT have surfaced.

About a week ago, we saw a laceless Kobe Bryant sneaker leak online that looked to utilize the same FastFit system found in the Air Jordan 33.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Kobe shoe adopt technology introduced in an Air Jordan; the Nike Kobe 7 System was the first to adopt the drop-in modular midsole cushion system first introduced in the previous year’s Air Jordan 2011.

While performance on this upcoming Nike Kobe AD NXT may end up being great, the shoe is far from aesthetically pleasing. Obviously, that is a personal opinion and some may disagree. However, the model just looks like a higher cut Kobe 11 with the FastFit system thrown in there.

I do like seeing the FastFit system through the translucent upper. However, it makes the shoe look more like an unfinished prototype rather than a refined product for performance.

It’s possible that this is just a rough sample. Maybe the actual final version of the shoe looks much better than what we see here. Fingers crossed.

Release information has yet to be leaked but feel free to leave your thoughts on the laceless Nike Kobe AD NXT below.

  1. Definitely looks unfinished, but the overall silhouette and model look pretty cool, in my opinion. I’d be interested to see what happens with upcoming colorways.

  2. This looks like Ash the robot from Alien after they cut his head off.

I usually like kobes aesthetically, but this aint happening. The cover condom, strap, and all the junk sticking out from the fastfit system just makes it look like they added too much ingredients and ruined the dish. All that stuff, and it probably doesnt have decent forefoot cushioning.

  3. I thought the original NXT was goofy. Ended up being decent, although technically it was arguably a tweaked 11.

This hopefully exceeds expectations performance-wise, but yeah, it’s that “shoe in a trash bag” look.

  4. Well, if you look closely it looks like another garbage traction pattern again. Looks like the 360 bottoms. HERRINGBONE NIKE HERRINGBONE!
