As summer rolls on Under Armour will be offering new takes on its top-tier runner, the HOVR Phantom.
The shoe will be stocked in several colorways for adults and kids come July 12, when the ‘Twisted Knit’ pack hits retailers. While all of the colorways in the pack have yet to be revealed, expect the heathered red knit look pictured here, a nearly triple black build, and a white heathered colorway.
The HOVR Phantom ($130) is equipped with the brand new HOVR cushioning system and contained with a compression mesh Energy Web around the foam. It features a soft knit upper and a 3D molded chamois midfoot panel for increased ventilation.
With several colorways of the brand’s HOVR running line sold out at UA.com, the HOVR Phantom has been a bona fide success for the Baltimore brand.
On an earnings call in early May, Kevin Plank, founder and CEO of Under Armour, said that HOVR was the first-ever synchronized and digital-only global launch which exceeded goals for engagement, UA.com visits, perception scores, and sell-through. He added that the company was incredibly happy with the HOVR launch.
