New upcoming colorways of the Nike Zoom 2k draw inspiration from popular 90s color schemes.
Nike Sportswear’s latest creation, the Nike Zoom 2k, is a model that looks like it was ripped from a 90s or early 2000’s catalogue — in the best way possible.
From the bulky design to the multiple overlays and old school Zm Air branding, the Zoom 2k is an affordable model with comfort and style in mind.
Forefoot Zoom Air and a rugged outsole sporting the old waffle traction pattern are featured at the base of this new running inspired sneaker. Neoprene is featured as the midfoot and rear section of the shoe’s build while mesh and synthetic overlays finish things off at the forefoot.
This new batch of colorways looks to draw inspiration from popular 90s colorways like the ‘Infrared’ Air Max 90, the Grape theme seen on numerous Nike and Jordan models and the gradient look seen on the recently re-released Nike Air Skylon II.
No release information is available for the latest colorways, but there are a number of colors currently available at Nike.com for $85.
