New Balance has unveiled a brand new lightweight runner dubbed the Fresh Foam Lazr Elite.
The new shoe, which has gotten a limited release of just two colorways, is pushing New Balance’s footwear towards more advanced manufacturing techniques through data-inspired design.
The New Balance Lazr Elite features HypoSkin on the upper for a streamlined and slim silhouette. A two-way stretch sock-like collar and bootie construction should allow for easy on and off.
The shoe rides atop the brand’s first-ever laser-engraved Fresh Foam midsole, which should offer additional comfort by creating deep flex grooves throughout the midsole. The hexagonal design language used on the midsole is also echoed on the semi-translucent outsole.
Classified by New Balance as a unisex neutral cushioned sneaker, the shoe weighs a mere 9.2 ounces.
The New Balance Fresh Foam Lazr Elite has launched in two colorways at NewBalance.com ($110) and Sneakersnstuff.com ($130).
