As of late, New Balance has been adding more and more baseball players to their roster. Their latest recruit, Robinson Cano of the Seattle Mariners, announced Thursday in a press conference that New Balance would be providing him with shoes and gear both on and off the diamond. The multiyear deal will also provide gear to children attending Cano’s RC22 Dream School in San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic.
Cano will be wearing the New Balance 3000v2 baseball spike, outfitted with his logo, number, personal additions, and Mariners color scheme, in this year’s anticipated MLB season. I played baseball for nine years and never saw a cleat that looked this awesome.
