Packer Shoes honors the #1 overall pick in the 1982 NBA Draft with this retro of the James Worthy signature model; the New Balance P740.
Packer shoes is one of the best in the business when it comes to bringing a blast from the past in sneaker form, and the New Balance P740 OG “Worthy Express” is just that. With the exact materials and tooling from the original 1985 release, this retro features a full length high rebound 40 durometer EVA midsole. Other than that the technology is primitive compared to todays standards. A full leather upper with perforations in the toe box help with ventilation while staying true to the OG classic. The colorway is a simple black and white for simple look with a nice contrast. “Worthy” can be found underneath the New Balance branding on the tongue for that true signature look. Overall the New Balance P740 OG “Worthy Express” is a simple shoe which makes it so nostalgic.
The White/Black-Grey colorway of the New Balance P740 OG “Worthy Express” will launch on July 10th at Packer Shoes and PackerShoes.com
