In May of 2018, it was rumored that two new Jordan 11 colorways would hit retail before the holidays. Now, the one of them, the Air Jordan 11 ‘Platinum Tint’, has finally surfaced — and it isn’t a photoshopped render.
There’s a reason we here at WearTesters don’t post the artist renderings of upcoming Jordans: they almost never look like the actual shoe because they’re pure speculation. This is precisely the case with the Air Jordan 11 ‘Platinum Tint’.
Initial photoshopped renders, like the one pictured here by @jayzrdead, gave the shoe a grey upper with red Jumpmen. However, the actual shoe is a much lighter grey (more like off-white) and the red accents are everywhere. This Jordan 11 will use the traditional black inner lining, although the addition of red piping between the ballistic mesh and heel panel is anything but traditional.
The Air Jordan 11 ‘Platinum Tint’ is rumored to release sometime in October alongside an olive Jordan 11 for women for $220.
For now, let us know if you’ll be picking up this AJXI when it hits retailers or if you’ll be sticking to the classic 2018 Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’.
These don’t look terrible. Pretty cool the jumpman is facing the toe on the left shoe. Can’t tell if that’s leather or a suede mudguard… looking forward to seeing more about these. Specifically the inspiration of the colorway.
they’re ok, i guess, would have been WAY cooler if they were cool grey like the original render
these are gonna sit and probably go to outlets though
