A Wild New adidas Silhouette Surfaces, the Prophere

adidas prophere 2

Meet the adidas Prophere.

We previously reported on a new adidas model, the adidas Deerupt, dropping next year. Now, there is another new model but this one is releasing this year.

The shoe appears to be an amalgamation of current and past adidas models; the Prophere’s upper has the shape of an UltraBoost and the Primeknit-looking pattern seems to be reminiscent of the glitch camo found on previous iterations from the adidas NMD line. Meanwhile, the big, bulky midsole is similar to what’s found on the adidas Kobe models from the his tenure with the brand.

This build does not feature Boost, so as it stands, it might have Bounce or a new cushion system in the midsole. However, no official word or tech specs have been released yet so stay tuned.

According to leaker theyeezymafia, the adidas Prophere is set to release in December of 2017 for $120, though it will not be the Copper/Black colorway shown here (and nothing has been said about the White/Black colorway).

What do you think of the upcoming adidas Prophere? Does the strange look turn you on to it or is it a bit too eclectic? Let us know in the comment section below.
