For the past few years, New Balance has been releasing a collection of shoes that are produced in the United States (70%) and feature the highest care and quality. New Balance now welcomes a new silhouette to the ‘Made in USA’ family with the 997, in a new colorway called ‘Age of Exploration’. New Balance produces nearly four million pairs of shoes per year in the United States, the most of any shoe brand.
This iteration of the 997 features a quality upper mix of nubuck, Horween Leather, and other textiles. The ‘Age of Exploration’ colorway (the only colorway currently available) features a mostly ‘Magnet’ black upper, with gray accents and a camo pattern on the toe box. The midsole is completely white with a small ‘997 new balance’ logo on the lateral heel while the outsole is a mix of black and gray. ‘MADE IN USA’ can also be seen on the tongue, proving you have a true pair produced in the United States.
