Le Coq Sportif has made a huge comeback as of late, no doubt in part to their recent collaborations. Up next is the LimitEDition x Le Coq Sportif Eclat ‘Rose’. The Barcelona shop and LCS came together to create a beautiful and elegant collab whose inspiration comes from roses. This collaboration is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Eclat silhouette.
Premium red and tan suede lathers the upper of this shoe, with green leather heel tabs to represent the leaves of the rose bush. A multicolor speckled midsole is a nice touch on this shoe, an ode to all the different colors found in a rose garden and on one single rose petal. Le Coq branding is subtle on this shoe, but not invisible. A stitched rose hits the heel of the left shoe, while LimitEDition hits the heel of the right. A gum outsole wraps this one up nicely. Fortunately, the collaborators did not add any spikes to the shoe as thorns.
Pricing is set at £80.00 for the LimitEDition x Le Coq Sportif Eclat ‘Rose’. These release in-store at Hanon on September 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. (UK time).
