Back in March we showed you all LeBron James’ next sneaker, the LeBron Soldier 12, in an interesting camo build. Now, the sneaker is ready for a release in its ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ (triple black) colorway.
While the LeBron Soldier 12 retains many of the same features the outgoing LeBron Soldier 11, it does come with one big upgrade: Battleknit, Nike’s thicker Flyknit designed for LeBron James. That new material should give this shoe a snug sock-like fit.
The latest Soldier sneaker uses a laceless closure system secured by straps, like many of the past models. What has changed is the tooling, which now appears to have distinct forefoot and heel sections (some material has been cored out beneath the arch, unlike the Soldier 11).
If the LeBron Soldier 12 follows the Soldier 11 in cushioning expect huge Zoom Air units in the heel and forefoot. (You can learn more by taking a look inside the LeBron Soldier 11 deconstructed.)
The Nike LeBron Soldier 12 will release at Eastbay.com and other Nike retailers on April 12 for $130 in men’s sizes and $120 in boys sizes. The sneaker pictured here is a boys size. Expect the camo colorway to arrive soon.

Hopefully the traction performs as good as it looks, because that stuff looks beastly
these are beginning to grow on me with the right colorway. I’d be sold if the stability is better than the Lebron 15 and the zoom cushion setup (density) is atleast the same.
