The latest colorway of the Reebok Shaq Attaq has something to say about Christian Laettner and the Nike’s he wore.
Upon first look, the “Dream Team Snub” colorway of the Reebok Shaq Attaq has a lot going on but have no fear, WearTesters is here to break it all down.
Right off the bat, you have the classic red, white, blue and metallic gold color scheme that represents the USA’s Olympic colors. But what about the weird mid-panel that uses blue and purple neoprene?
Apparently, that off colored mid-panel is supposed to represent the Nike Air Huarache — the sneaker Christian Laettner wore during his stint on the legendary USA Dream Team.
Christian Laettner was the sole college representative on the 1992 Olympic basketball team. Many, including Reebok, thought Laettner was a snub to the dominant center out of LSU, Shaquille O’Neal.
Damn Reebok, you deserve this: ?
You can cop the Shaq Attaq “Dream Team Snub” at select Reebok Classic retailers now for $160.

Damn, that’s suede? Looks a lot like neoprene.
I like them a lot!!!
the CW is ridiculous and doesnt work at all. the concept of a Dream Team snub shoe is an interesting idea but to bring Laettner into it is petty. I really like the x’d out Shaq logo tho
