Lakers Colors Hit Lonzo Ball’s BBB Z02.19 ‘California Gold’ PE

BBB z02.19 PE california gold

Brandblack founder David Raysse has shared Lonzo Ball’s latest BBB Z02.19 PE and it will don the Lakers’ purple and gold…kind of.

Equipped with a gold/beige mesh and full grain nappa leather upper, this ‘California Gold’ PE flaunts a deep purple strap and purple accents along its midsole. Within that midsole is a foam that offers 40% more rebound (likely energy return) than standard EVA foam, according to the Big Baller Brand.

While the shoe does sport purple and gold, the gold is — at least in this image — much more fluorescent than what the Lakers wear. However, the new NBA color restrictions will allow for this sneaker and several other colorways Raysse has already previewed.

The BBB Z02.19 retails for $200 — a huge decrease from the $495 price tag the last BBB shoe carried — and is available for pre-order now (it will ship February 1, 2019).

Check out all of the upcoming colorways below and let us know if you’ll be trying to pick up David Raysse’s latest creation in the comments below. WearTesters will have a detailed look and review for you all shortly.
