The Legend React is a budget-friendly version of Nike’s latest runner, the Epic React Flyknit. Both shoes ride atop the brand’s new React foam, and a very clean women’s colorway is coming soon.
Instead of the one-pice Flyknit build used on the $150 Epic React Flyknit, the women’s Legend React uses a mesh upper designed for ventilation and support. The midfoot features some no-sew overlays around the eyestays that should add structure and lockdown. Additionally, there’s a partial bootie inside the shoe to wrap the foot for that sock-like fit.
Interestingly, the Legend React is equipped with durable rubber traction beneath the entire forefoot and heel. Reviewers and several YouTubers noted some durability issues with the Epic React Flyknit and its transparent rubber early on, so this shoe makes sure most contact points are covered in thick rubber.
According to leaker US11, the Nike Legend React will release in this Violet Dust/Purple Shade/Particle Rose colorway on July 5. Expect the shoe to retail for $100.
The Legend React is available now in ‘Summit White’ in women’s sizes at Eastbay.com for $100.

Has anyone else had an issue with the top mesh at the toe and near the laces shredding apart after minimal wear? My daughter has the react legend in the dustu rose. Has barely been worn.
