Today, Jordan Brand has unveiled the 2017 BHM Collection.
Most might be disappointed in this year’s BHM Collection from Jordan Brand as it’s pretty lackluster compared to years past, but there is one classic among the crowd that should please old school Jumpman fans.
The Air Jordan 1 is used once again as the main draw of the collection. Being featured in a Men’s and Women’s exclusive colorway — both of which use black and gold tastefully. There is no real context given within the press release as to why the shoes are the colors they are or why the Men’s AJ1 has a removable velcro Swoosh and Wings logo. To me, it seems like the Jordan Brand side of this year’s collection was an afterthought.
However, there is something to look forward to and that’s the return of the Trunner LX. This special edition makeup features the same color palette as the AJ1s and it looks beautiful.
