Jordan Brand Plans on Releasing Two Kobe Bryant PE’s, Yes You Read That Right

Oh my have the sneaker gods answered our prayers.

We all know Kobe Bryant is retiring for good at the end of the season, so special merchandise, tributes, and colorways are to be expected. But this, this is big. During Kobe’s sneaker free agency in the 2002-03 season, Kobe wore a variety of models including the Air Jordan 3 and 8 in classic purple and gold colorways.

While nothing official has been announced, word is that both the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 in purple and gold colorways will be part of a pack that will celebrate Kobe’s last NBA season. Rumored to be priced at $500 for the pack, Kobe fans should have no problem putting up that kind of coin for these exclusive colorways.

Stay tuned to WearTesters.com for any official updates regarding this release as well as any of your performance needs.

    1. They did say it, but something like this, they are probably making this an exception.
Yeah, understandable that they may changed their plan.

  1. Only clowns are willing to pay $500 for sneakers, no ROI. Why not buy $500 in Nike stock if you must spend your money with them? M.J. should be ashamed of himself for fleecing the young as Nike’s golden boy.

  2. This is great and all, but even if we did want to cough up the cash, like 10% of us will even have a chance it sounds.

This day and age of being able to grab certain shoes just makes me sad… I get it, I do, this is how Nike keeps things tight and makes money, but it’s just sad.

I guess I can look forward to seeing pics of these?

  3. Sick Rific – I can see the Line now! I will have to take my lazy ass out of Line Retirement for this one.
