Jordan Brand Goes Sneakerboot with the Trunner LX High

The folks over at Nike have never been shy with their experiments, hence the creation of NikeLab. It only makes sense then that Jordan Brand gets in on the action as well.

Seen above is the newly released Jordan Trunner LX High ‘Pure Platinum.’ The main portion of the shoe, the Trunner LX, remains fairly unchanged. However, unlike most variations of the shoe, the LX High appears to feature the same material across the entire upper.

This is not the case for the “Golden Harvest” colorway though, which appears to be composed of leather and neoprene. Both colorways are topped off with a neoprene bootie as an extension of the collar.

Both models are available now overseas and at select retailers for $145.

If you’re asking me, I have always been a big fan of this particular model, and of Trunners as a whole, so seeing a “winterized” version is exciting. It’s not about me though — leave your thoughts on the LX High in the comments below, and stay tuned to WearTesters for more information.
