Does Nike have plans to combine the Nike Air Foamposite One with the NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor X?
If Nike does, it wouldn’t be the first time basketball and tennis have collided.
The Foamposite build from the original Nike Foamposite is used rather well, all things considered, with the upper from the NikeCourt Vapor X. The tooling of the NikeCourt looks to be reused and repainted to match the royal Foamposite material while a translucent outsole is in place utilizing the Vapor X traction. However, carbon fiber has been added — something the Nike Tennis model does not have.
Both models feature Zoom Air, but the NikeCourt Vapor X only features a heel Zoom Air unit which is likely what will be used here. Meanwhile, the Foamposite features a full length Zoom Air unit with an additional heel Zoom Air unit.
No word on when this hybrid will release but the early leaked images have us intrigued. People went crazy over the combination of the Air Jordan 3 X Nike Zoom Vapor so it will be interesting to see how people respond to these, both upon initial look and once they find out they’ll be limited.

Is it me, or have Foamposites and Flightposites been made with lower quality uppers recently? Ever since maybe 2014, they feel plasticky, and not thick and sturdy like they were before?

HS tennis is around the corner here in SoCal
Kyrie also has a model with the 5 in low top form with the tooling from the vapor court.
I’m more intrigued by this being a Foamposite low as opposed to hybrid, but the Vapor X traction will likely be useful for both sports.
