Highs and Lows, one of Australia’s premier sneaker boutiques, has just released information on its seventh collaborative project with Reebok. This time around, the silhouette used is the recently resurrected Reebok NPC UK.
According to Highs and Lows, the Reebok NPC UK silhouette was chosen from the Vector archive for its simplicity and shape. The inspiration for this collab comes from Australia’s own international tennis tournament, the Hopman Cup, and its famous blue court. That same blue is used as an accent on the mostly white tennis shoe. The standout facet of the Highs and Lows x Reebok NPC UK has to be the premium Gerecke European HAL sourced for the shoe’s upper.
An off-white leather lining and midsole compliment the simple upper and the uppermost eyelets are woodgrain, inspired by the original hardwood tennis racquets. Debossed HAL nubuck heel tabs, dual-branded tongue patches, unique tennis court-inspired insoles, and striped nylon pull tabs finish off this latest Reebok NPC UK. Bonus: all orders from Highs and Lows will feature HAL signature Justice Scale crew socks.
The Highs and Lows x Reebok NPC UK launches globally on February 20, 2016, in-store and online for $250 AUD (approx. $180 USD).
