In August, WearTesters reported that Nike had updated one of its mid-tier runners, the Zoom Fly, with a carbon fiber springplate and React cushioning to create the Zoom Fly Flyknit.
The shoe, which retails at $160 ($10 more than the original Lunarlon-equipped Zoom Fly), brings several highly-requested upgrades from Nike’s top-tier $200+ performance runners to the sub-$200 price range; it includes the carbon fiber springplate at a lower retail price than any of the brand’s performance runners yet.
Nike’s latest runner debuted in a Black/Orange Peel/Flash Crimson look that may not be for everyone. Now, leaked images show us what colorways will be coming to the Zoom Fly Flyknit; expect the shoe to release in a light Pure Platinum/Crimson build and a dark Black/Gunsmoke/White look.
Expect these new Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit colorways to release on October 1 for $160 each at retailers including Foot Locker, Nike.com, and Eastbay.com. Men’s and women’s sizes will be available.
