After months of teasing, the HALO x Vibram x Brandblack hybrid milspec military boot has a release date.
Reported on way back in October as the BLADERUNNER boot, the hybrid boot is inspired by Danish Army Special Forces. According to Rich & Hanc, it was an elite team that was considered among the best in the world to jump from High Altitudes with Low Openings.
Now, three brands have come together to create a boot that is both functional and stylish. Additionally, it appears that the boot will launch alongside HALO off-duty apparel.
According to Brandblack, the HALO x Vibram x Brandblack Bladerunner features advanced knit interior construction, a reinforced toe for maximum abrasion resistance, and water-resistance. It rides atop a Vibram RGS hiker outsole with the brand’s RollinGait system.
The HALO x Brandblack Bladerunner Boot will launch December 1 in Europe at Storm Copenhagen and Rezet Sneaker Store. No pricing information or Stateside release has been announced.

Love the way these look, I wonder if they’re waterproof/water resistant though, because that would be the perfect winter shoe to rock. Hopefully the price isn’t crazy though like the Aura’s
