Get an Official Look at the Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘The Master’

The first Air Jordan 12 to Retro this year is the upcoming ‘The Master’.

Taking inspiration from the popular The Master poster from the shoes original release in  ’97, this pair features a black on black upper with subtle highlights found at the gold lace eyelets and white branding. We’re not sure if these are considered to be remastered by the brand as they aren’t labeled as such within the item description – although the price is the standard $190 that remastered products come stamped with.

Check out an official detailed look at the shoe and look for them to hit retailers starting February 27.

  1. If remastered, they need to feel and play like the OG’s, of which is impossible if they cannot get the chassis right, in regard to the cushioning. The OG’s were not soft and mushy, which was the issue with the retro. The OG’s were firm and springy. When they broke in, they, the shoe, got closer to the foot, which is the exact opposite from what happened in the retro as the fit became loose and sloppy, forcing you to tie them tighter while playing.

However I am coming from a player’s experience, so my comment isn’t built for instagram shots and puddles of water.

  2. I thought the remastered AJ’s are $220. Either way these are super nice in showing off the leather details. Considered them, but ultimately am not the biggest fan of the 12’s silhouette and there’s just cheaper options for the leather indulgence.

  3. I haven’t been exited about a Jordan release in a long while. The 12s have been my favorite model since a had the OGs as a kid. Definitely getting these.
