I’ve never seen turquoise or orange colored grapes, but adidas uses those colors to complement purple on its new Ultra Boost Grape colorway and needless to say, they look pretty interesting.
This Ultra Boost Grape colorway looks a lot like the “Aurora Borealis” Crazylight Boost 2.5 that adidas released for the All-Star weekend. And although the sneaker is over a year old, it has definitely made its statement in the sneaker community. Thus, adidas continues to throw out new colors because of the versatility of Primeknit and its gradient construction.
Purple accents are found on the model’s upper, heel counter, and even the lace tips whereas the orange and turquoise dominate most of the color scheme throughout the upper. The sockliner, heel counter, and three stripes branding are black, and all of these surprisingly harmonious colors sit on top of a fresh white Boost midsole and a black rubber outsole.
Stay tuned to WearTesters for this colorway’s release information, but meanwhile, you can check out the pictures below.
Is the Ultra Boost Grape colorway too strange for you or does it appeal to your taste buds? Have adidas’ Ultra Boosts redefined “comfort” in the sneaker world? Let me know what you think in the comment section below.

These are beautiful, I have a pair of ultra boost I’ve been wearing casually and for running and they are by far the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn.
