Jordan Brand has coated the Air Jordan 8 in red suede for Valentine’s Day, and if you’ve been paying attention to Asics, you know this look.
Known for its Valentine’s Day packs, Asics dressed up the Gel-Lyte V in nearly exactly the same look for the brand’s 2015 pack — down to the red suede and floral print. However, that shoe was a bit more tonal than this latest Air Jordan 8.
With notable details to fit the occasion like the hearts on the tongues, unique packaging, and the roses at the footbeds, the Air Jordan 8 Valentine’s Day appears to be a women’s exclusive release. “Loves Me” and “Loves Me Not” are featured behind the cross straps in black script.
While there appears to be no men’s counterpart to this release, the Air Jordan 8 ‘Valentine’s Day’ drops on February 14 for $190 — right in the middle of all of Nike’s All-Star Week releases.
