Just two months after the brand released its Big Pun x Ewing 33 Hi ‘Capital Punishment’, Ewing Athletics has once again partnered with the Rios family to celebrate Big Punisher’s Puerto Rican heritage.
Dressed in striking blue leather, this Ewing 33 Hi echoes the red, white, and blue Puerto Rican flag with a red tongue and white outsole. The midsole is treated to some paint splatter, as are the laces, and the tongues get unique Puerto Rican “BIG PUN” and Ewing Athletics branding. The heels flaunt huge Puerto Rican flags.
This sneaker is for the culture and for the Bronx, and thus, the Big Pun x Ewing 33 Hi ‘Puerto Rico’ will release via an in-store event at BX Sports on 1574 Westchester Ave. Be there on June 30 at 1 PM ET for tunes by DJ Trase, refreshments by Mikey Likes It Ice Cream, and, of course, special guests not yet named.
