Everything You Need to Know About Jimmy Butler’s Jordan Supreme Elevation

It’s not often we get a glimpse of things behind the scenes but today, we’re looking at everything you should know about Jimmy Butler’s Jordan Supreme Elevation.

According to Jordan Brand, Jimmy Butler first saw the Jordan Supreme Elevation in late 2018. Ever since he laid eyes on the Zoom Air-equipped performance model, they’ve been his go-to on-court shoe throughout the 2018-2019 NBA season.

With that being said, here is everything you need to know about the Jordan Supreme Elevation.

1. It’s a Greater China exclusive

The Jordan Supreme Elevation is available exclusively through NIKE, Inc., channels in China. Unfortunately, Nike, Inc. in China does not ship internationally. If you happen to want a pair, you’ll be able to order them from reputable eBay seller iD4Shoes.

2. It has game shoe DNA

With a Flyknit upper (inspired by the Air Jordan 32, Butler’s favorite low), the Jordan Supreme Elevation is the lightest in the Jordan Brand line — even with the forefoot and ankle strap in place.

3. It’s crazy responsive

In order to up the shoe’s performance and aesthetics, two large volume visible heel Zoom Air bags are implemented. One is in the logical place (the heel), the other was flipped around and placed into the forefoot. The result: the most Zoom Air featured in any Jordan Brand shoe (thus far) and the most responsive shoe in the line.

4. It highlights Butler’s go-against-the-grain attitude

Tributes to fan-favorite villains to celebrations of his alma matter, Marquette, Butler’s Jordan Supreme Elevation colorways have given the shoe a near-signature feel that has added to the silhouette’s mystery.

I had begun testing the Jordan Supreme Elevation prior to my calf injury, and I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things on-court. Once I’m fully confident, I’ll finish testing and complete the performance review. In the meantime, be sure to go down 1/2 size if you plan on ordering a pair.

  1. I’ve been holding off on my next purchase waiting for this to come here (Canada), but sadly, its not coming 🙁 Here’s hoping Nike/Jordan Brand is lurking around the Weartesters comments and sees this. Nike/JB, please bring these to NA! I loved the 32 and these look like a great evolution of those!

  2. China exclusive?!?!?! Please tell me that’s only a certain color way? If these really don’t release in North America then JB is leaving a ton of money on the table (even if discounted). These would absolutely sell if they perform well. We’ve been begging for something like this.

  3. I was really forward to this but I been watching some of the china shoe reviewers and they have been saying the containment is very poor like the kd11 and the base isnt stable. prone to roll over. waiting for the performance reView to compare.

  4. WTH?!?! I sure hope these release in the states. This is the main Jordan shoe I’ve been wanting to try out for the last few months. I’m not excited to order from overseas…
