The millennials may not get it, but some of the older heads are going to be hyped for the return of Ellesse.
Everything from the ’90s is coming back in 2017 and that includes Italian sportswear brand Ellesse. Back in the day, Ellesse was known for creating some of the illest — and most expensive — tennis gear and footwear. The pieces were simple, elegant, and noticeably European.
Now, Ellesse is about to relaunch in the United States after staying active in Europe since the ’80s. It has renamed its classic Venezia silhouette the Vinitziana but the tennis silhouette stays true to its suede and mesh construction.
The Ellesse Vinitziana ($115) will launch in a collection alongside two Ellesse logo tees ($40 each) and a white 6-panel tennis cap ($36). The entire collection will be available exclusively at Packer Shoes in-store and online on Friday the 13th (October 13) at 12:00 PM EDT.
