Dwyane Wade was spotted wear-testing the upcoming Li-Ning Way of Wade 7. Luckily, someone was equipped with a potato to take these images.
Jokes aside, the upcoming Way of Wade 7 looks kind of cool — definitely not what I was expecting to follow the WoW 6.
It looks like a synthetic shroud will cover the toe, something we’ve seen recently from Jordan Brand models like the Why Not Zer0.1 and Ultra.Fly 3. We have no idea what the main body of the shoe will feature; the only real good look at the shoe thus far is an artist’s depiction so it could be anything.
Hopefully the shoe features great cushion and overall performance (like the WoW 6 had). A shoe that ended up being one of the best basketball shoes of 2017.

Super dope. Love that style of colorblocking *cough* HARDEN *cough*. Hopefully this isn’t just a PE because I will buy it if its under $170. Might be the first ODD number Wade shoe I buy. I have the 2’s, 4’s, and 6’s.

I’m hoping they just pay homage to the first sneakers and make that toe premium leather. Other than that they look good so far.
People really forgot that the Jordan 2010 that Wade wore had that whole front to back color block as well. I used to want the Jordan 2010 Outdoor but couldn’t find my size.
Where is the Wade 6 without that strap that he wore. I was hoping to get those as I like the 6 but hate the strap. Really wanted to try out the cushion.
Wanted to get the 6 but got held up on the questionable lateral stability, hopefully this design fixes that bc I def wanna try that drivefoam
Yeah he also featured a different colorway of the WoW 7 when he was wear-testing it via Snapchat a few weeks ago. It does look like the Harden Vol.1 which looked the like the Converse Wade 1. I dont love his logo in the middle of the shoe like that but looking forward to better images and tech specs.
They put the logo on the vamp because if they put it on the tongue then even more people would say that it looks like the volume 1, which it does.
For McCollum’s shoe they slapped artwork (not sure it counts as a logo) on the vamp in similar fashion. I guess it’s Li-Ning’s design language for the year. Kinda ugly imo but if these just keep building from the WoW 6, can’t complain.
It does, but they all look so nice that i’m not even mad.
These remind me more of the Curry 5s. Cool to see that they are still going.

I hope that the upper of the shoe will end up being more like the harden vol 2 with the neoprene like material and a stronger mesh in the forefoot rather then some sort of shroud. I would prefer not having the extra weight added if a thick shroud was covering the forefoot, or the possibility of maybe the different layers becoming a problem by pinching my foot.
