This brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 9 won’t drop until next year but today we’re getting our first good look at the upcoming release.
Using a Black/Anthracite/University Red colorway, these are unofficially being named the “Bred” colorway — despite not having a white midsole, something that has become synonymous with the “Bred” moniker.
If you’re a new Jordan head or an old one, there’s something here that should please both fans because it’s a basic red and black colorway that we can definitely picture MJ wearing back in the day.
These are rumored for a March 10 release date and will retail for $190. Will you cop?

These are more Referee than Breds, but is a really smooth colorway
This is why I despise sneaker nicknames. Do the Jordan 12 Black/Red, Jordan 13 Black/Red, or Jordan 32 Black/Red, all of which “sneakerheads” call “Breds”, have a white midsole? The inconsistency is annoying, just like Jordan’s remastered program, which by the way also hasn’t been mentioned by Jordan Brand in quite some time now. #TeamNightwing
Breds? Really?
