After the muy successful WearTesters release at Bait this month, we are now blessed with a Bait collab with Diadora. Old school shoe and cartoon heads should rejoice; DreamWorks has allowed Diadora to be “influenced” by its properties and use the character’s names for the Diadora x DreamWorks x Bait sneakers you see before you. Here, let Diadora explain it:
“Diadora is excited to announce the full launch of Diadora x Dreamworks x Bait! The collection will consist of two iconic models, the N9000 and S8000, both coming from the 1990’s running catalogue.
According to Diadora, the partnership will be a total of six shoes, inspired by some of DreamWorks’ biggest entertainment franchises including King Fu Panda, Where’s Wally (Waldo), Shrek, Felix the Cat, and Skeletor. The first to launch is Kung Fu Panda, this coming Saturday, May 28 at all seven Bait stores and Baitme.com.
Kung Fu Panda is an all-time classic movie so immediately they are a favorite. The Panda uses the classic S8000 silhouette, along with the Where’s Wally colorway. The Shrek, Felix, and Skeletor utilize the N9000 model, with the Shrek and Felix colorways also coming in toddler sizes for $80. Pricing for adults is between $200-$300 and are unisex sizing.
