The Under Armour Curry 5 released in super-limited fashion and we were fortunate enough to have been sent a pair.
March 14 was Pi Day and Stephen Curry’s birthday. To celebrate, Under Armour decided to release a limited edition colorway of the upcoming Curry 5 inspired by both events.
The shoe sold out instantly, but there were only 314 pairs available so it wasn’t shocking to see them fly off digital shelves. For those that may have missed out, be patient. The Curry 5 ‘Pi Day’ will restock on April 14 and there should be plenty of additional colorways coming in the event you miss out on those.
While we weren’t given official tech specs of the Curry 5, we did our best to point out the materials and tech based on having them in-hand and trying them on. While the look is different, the cushioning feels like that of the Curry 4 — very minimal.
We’re excited to take these out for a spin on-court so stay tuned for a performance review in the coming weeks. In the meantime, share your thoughts on the Under Armour Curry 5 ‘Pi Day’ below in the comment section. Feel free to rank the Curry models as well; you can rank them based on aesthetics or performance.
Reminds me of a new take on a Kobe 6. which is great, those were one of my all time favorites.
