After reporting the upcoming releases of several classically-styled Foamposite like the ‘Habanero Red’ and the ‘Sequoia’, Nike is back to putting different materials on one of Penny Hardaway’s most historic sneakers. Enter the Air Foramposite One ‘Denim’.
The new Foamposite is exactly what one would expect; it’s an otherwise normal Air Foamposite One (no large Swoosh) with icy outsoles, an internal bootie construction, and 1 Cent logos. However, traditional blue denim has been placed on top of the shoe’s synthetic Foamposite materials for an…interesting look.
The Air Foamposite One features the same beastly cushioning as the Air Jordan 18: a full-length Zoom Air unit, plus an additional heel Zoom unit to make it double-stacked.
The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Denim’ will release in Obsidian/University Red-Black on September 28 at Eastbay and Foot Locker for $230.
