DC Shoes reissues Josh Kalis’ OG signature shoe. The DC Kalis.
What a time to be alive. Nostalgia is at an all-time high and it doesn’t matter what you may have been into during the 80’s and 90’s as it’s likely seeing a return in some way.
Just last year, Josh Kalis celebrated the release of the DC Kalis Lite. A reimagined version of his first signature skate shoe with DC Shoes. While fans were happy to the the original build return, it was sitting atop new lightweight tooling that wasn’t reminiscent of the original. Fast forward to 2019 and we have a true reissue with the DC Kalis OG.
The retro version looks nearly identical to the original. From the materials and color blocking. Even the rear nitrogen cell unit has reemerged.
