Damian Lillard will be rocking a fresh new colorway of the adidas D Lillard 1, dubbed the Yellow Tape, when he returns home for Tuesdays game against the Golden State Warriors. This pair was designed by a fan – @gaculaesquire – and featured a super clean Black/ Red colorway with a touch of yellow tape. The tape is supposed to represent Lillard’s desire to be the best, and finish strong.
“The people I work out with in the summer would always push me harder at the end of the workouts. They say, finish strong, kill it. The term they would use is ‘yellow tape.’ You know, when it’s a homicide, they bring the yellow tape out? I embraced that. At the end of games I enjoy that part. I have a yellow-tape mentality. Finish hard. Kill ’em off.” – GrantLand
No word on whether these will ever see retail, but you can always grab a pair for yourself on mi adidas.

Dang this CW is sick, too bad the shoe seems kinda mediocre performance-wise.
Looks like we can do this at Adidas with the Mi adidas options. Props here, it is always cool if you can make your shoe look like Voltron’s Foot. I mite do something similar cuz this look’s Dope.
