This adidas Dame 5 drop is surprise to be sure, but a welcome one nonetheless especially with all the different colorways set to release in June.
By and large, the staff here at WearTesters agree that the adidas Dame 5 has been a very solid performer on-court. That’s why we were stoked to hear that there were a myriad of colorways that was set to drop in June.
However, this is perhaps one of the more surprising drops as it came completely out of nowhere. This particular pair comes with a black and yellow mesh upper as well as a multi-colored outsole and pink lettering on the heel that might be indicative of Damian Lillard’s Asia tours, something that he has done the past few years.
Additionally, the traction should hold up regardless of the colorway albeit with some break-in time needed. As is custom with the Dame line, cushion is Bounce so that should provide some impact protection while being comfortable.
Check out Nightwing2303 and Duke4005‘s performance reviews on the adidas Dame 5 for more information on how they performed on-court.
The adidas Dame 5 ‘Core Black/Active Gold/Shock Pink’ is available now at Eastbay for $115. It will be available at adidas on June 6 for anyone willing to wait a bit longer.
