Just to be up front, I’m not a fan of Supreme. I’m not a hater of Supreme, I think some of they’re gear is dope, but I’m not one to want to wait in line to overpay for a T-Shirt or some other piece of clothing. However, when they collaborate on a pair of sneakers then they usually get my attention – good or bad.
Now, with the upcoming collaboration between Jordan Brand and Supreme, Complex has comprised a list of 10 potential collabs they wish were actually happening. I’m not a fan of the way the collaboration between Jordan and Supreme looks – the Black/ Red pair is really clean, but the Supreme thing under the netting looks horrible – but it’s always awesome to contemplate on the ‘what if?’ aspect.
Out of all their PS’d creations, I chose to post my two favorites. They also just happen to be modern releases. Something about the design of the XX8 & XX9 really shows just how far ahead Jordan Brand is design wise. Might not seem that way with both pairs hitting sale prices at some point, but despite how it looks sales wise… these are future classics. And they just happen to look cool with Supreme’s weird design elements too.
