In August of 2017, we reported that the Air Jordan 2 ‘Melo’ would be coming back in 2018. It looks like early leaks were right — kind of — because that release is now confirmed.
Carmelo Anthony has had, arguably, some of the best Air Jordan PEs of all time. Next month, a White/University Blue/Varsity Maize PE from 2003 (Melo’s rookie year) is coming back.
Back in 2017, soleheatonfeet predicted that the Air Jordan 2 ‘Melo’ would release in May of 2018. That release will actually occur on June 9. Expect the shoe to retail for $190 and be available at Eastbay.com and Foot Locker.
If everything stays the same as previous Air Jordan 2 retro models, there should be full-length encapsulated Air for cushioning and great traction despite the shoe’s old school look (which this writer happens to love).
