Cam’ron’s latest collab isn’t on the Ventilator Supreme, like his last two. Instead, it’s on the DMX Run 10, a classic Reebok silhouette that recently escaped the vault.
Inspired by Harlem nights, Killa’s latest collab is a blacked-out sneaker that opts for interesting material choices instead of color to enhance the product. Outfitted with material reminiscent of tilapia, Cam’ron’s favorite meal, and pony hair suede, a nod to his love of fur coats, the shoe boasts premium materials all around.
Cam’ron’s DMX Run 10 sits atop an EVA midsole and a black and purple ice outsole that is mixed with glow in the dark material for a unique aesthetic. The outsole is a tribute to his first release, Confessions of Fire, and his favorite color, purple.
Additionally, Cam’s nickname “Killa” is highlighted on the tongue while his lyrics hit the webbing, sockliner, and packaging for a personalized approach. Pastel American flag sockliners and leather guts round out the sneaker.
Cam’ron’s latest album, The Program, debuted days ago and has been received as some of the rapper’s best and most mature work yet.
The Reeebok DMX Run 10 Cam’ron releases on November 27, Cyber Monday, for $200 at Reebok.com and select retailers worldwide.
