It’s no secret that Bryan (Duke4005) and I have been loving this trainer, and for good reason.
The Under Armour C1N Trainer is the latest sneaker for Carolina Panthers quarterback Cameron Newton. The ‘Chairman’ colorway, which releases at Eastbay on September 8, is inspired by Newton’s love of ’50s swank and his hopes of making an impact in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This trainer has been in my rotation since it released. At $120, the C1N Trainer offers a multicolor and reflective knit Threadborne upper that is durable and easy to clean. It isn’t stretchy like other knits, but it’s supportive.
The C1N Trainer sits atop a Micro G midsole with a Charged Cushioning heel crash pad that feels great — whether you’re training hard or just wearing the shoe all day casually. Just make sure not to wear no-show socks.
