Nike is only beginning to construct new builds of its Air VaporMax — some are laceless, some have straps, and some have vintage bulk. This latest build is the latter.
This Nike Air VaporMax CS ditches the usual Flyknit upper for one made of mesh, and opts for fuse reinforcement at the forefoot. Moreover, this version features what appears to be synthetic leather overlays and ’90s graphics at the midfoot. A thick plastic heel cup that reads VaporMax has replaced the minimalist build of the Air VaporMax Flyknit.
The brown-dark blue color scheme used here is reminiscent of several Nike models of the past. There has been no rumored release date or price for the Nike Air VaporMax CS, but we’ll know more when official details come.
