The Brandblack x WearTesters Rare Metal, our second collaboration, is a performance beast with some unique feature that make it truly Nightwing-inspired.
Many of you are already familiar with the Rare Metal; it’s an ultra-lightweight performance basketball shoe with sock-fit construction, multi-directional micro wiper thread technology, a 3D molded tongue top, and a jacquard upper.
For the WearTesters Rare Metal, Brandblack created a unique jacquard knit specifically for our version. Moreover, this is the only Brandblack shoe to feature a blue bottom hue other than the traditional Brandblack Blue. The midsole gets a gorgeous gradient black-to-blue fade, and inside, the sockliner is co-branded.
You know we had to come correct with the packaging and goodies. To match our collab, included in every box will be a pair of the premium Brandblack Pro-fit sock — and it isn’t available anywhere else. You’ll also receive a second pair of laces for those that want some additional pop. Finally, each pair of the WearTesters Rare Metal will come packaged in a special collector’s box with co-brand WearTesters x Brandblack custom dustbags.
The WearTesters Rare Metal arrives May 13 for $140. It will be available overseas at Titan, so don’t fret. More release details will come as the date approaches.

I love this colorway. And of course the WT logo in the back makes all come together perfectly. WT is so big time. You can the the difference between WT and other sites. The passion for kicks I’d real no hype.

Compared Ether, the RM is more abuse friendly imo. Seems very fitting in the nature of WT being about performance foremost so hopefully people enjoy these as intended. Goes without saying these are as good as the RM’s have looked as well.

The CW is just a dream came true! Perfect! And “unique jacquard” – looks more ‘texturized’ than the regular RM, is it? Socks, extra laces, special box – very nice touch. Excited af! (russia here, btw)
Wonderful job Brandblack and Weartesters. The shoe is a performance beast and is one of my top three still for on court performers. Nightwing did great with the color design and overall layout. Fingers crossed I get these and yes, I will be hooping in them!

Indeed. Hope they release in all Titan outlets + online. Titan BGC/Conrad is a pain to go to during the weekends 🙁
