Hey guys! Got an EPIC pickup in today (yesterday). It’s a collaboration that I’ve been working on with BrandBlack on one of their upcoming models called the Ether. These might actually release in limited numbers so stay tuned and I’ll be sure to keep you updated.

This is awesome. If there is any kind of production on these, I will do my damnest to get a pair. I’m a sucker for black/white based shoes and these look like an awesome combo of both style and athleticism. It’s why Brandblack collaborating with WT is a match made in heaven. Kudos to you NW and to WT!
Those are some of the best kicks I think I’ve ever seen. The panels allow for lots of colorways so thag will be nice. My personal concern is the scuffing on the nubuck. I like the old/new blend on shoes. Good off or on court.

oh i personally would of loved the toe box to be white with a different material, like one of roses 1.5 model which i loved. but again that wouldn’t have made it your shoes.
P.S. so these have abundant cushioning? im heavy and old…
They do. The foam is similar to boost in terms of the cushion, absolutely love them.
I’m 6’5″ 200 and pushing 30, these things have saved my knees the past few months.

That is very good news to hear that BB is coming out with a foam like that. Regular zoom won’t do it for me anymore either unless it’s old school zoom and abundant (Think Melo M8). I just bought a pair of lebron x on ebay to help my knees too. Only 28 and 184 lbs but my knees have been through hell so I need that good stuff.
It looks too much like a skateboarding shoe to me. Make the sole grey would improve it and cut into the sole on the sides to add some detail rather than flat all the way.

Playing in the Crossover 2 and Raptor atm and find it hard to reach for anything else.
Ive been testing the Ether for a few months and these shoes are amazing. The foam is unbelievable, falls inbetween boost and micro g for me. I do wish the rubber compound was a little harder, but I only have the sample so retail may change.
Kept saying how good these would look in black with that smooth gum sole. More shoes need to go with gum soles.

I said the same thing w the rubber and they changed it. Worked great last night. They added texture to it too.
Glad they changed it. I have almost burned through this pair playing purely indoors on a pristine court.

I don’t feel the need or desire to have a Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc. I just read and watch what I want and go about my business. But I’ve said all of that to say this, your hard work behind the scenes is starting to be brought to light and I for one can’t be happier for you. This good news has drawn me out from just being a silent everyday visitor of the site to an official member!

I know you don’t know me, and I’m not trying to pretend I know you, but as a 25 year old man with a (live in) girlfriend and no kids, I’m sure you’ve got a lot more going on than me in life and for you to take time out of your schedule for us on a damn near daily basis just so we can have a QUALITY four minute video two or three times a week, that’s dedication.
I kind of see this shoe as like an MVP award for everything you’ve done for not just ‘sneakerheads’ but for everyone who has even a small interest in shoes. You’re the reason I bought my aging mother some Pure Boosts a year or so ago that she loves.

P.S. As far as the shoes go, I like them! I would personally liked to have seen an icy blue sole and white speckles on the midsole to set everything off, but that’s just me. Since there aren’t very many public places to play ball here in the ‘safe’ parts of Memphis, I don’t play ball anymore, but I’m sure you picked a solid outsole since you’ll probably play in yours.

congratulations NW. that is so awesome. designing my own shoe has been a dream of mine since I was a kid so its really cool to see someone whose arc I’ve followed for years get the opportunity.
absolutely love the shoe. I personally like the white stripe across the tongue bc it balances out the white and black ratio a little bit. but I can understand changing it; most ppl would probably prefer it black. the only other change I would personally like from a looks standpoint is adding some color to the BrandBlack logo. dont think the white on white is strong enough(that might be the idea just to accentuate the Weartesters logo- which is really humble of BrandBlack). I would love to see that blue color used there to really set it off. love that color.
all in all one of the best looking performance shoes I’ve seen in many years. which makes sense bc the All Star 2000 was one of my absolute favorite shoes I had growing up

Please please please convince BB to do a preorder system to gauge interest. as said above a half down non refundable preorder would be the tits. Also I agree with gum bottoms but If BB could do it where the traction portion of the outsole was still their signature blue that would be epic. for alot of people this WILL be their first BB shoes and not having a signature detail is kind of a bummer… would you want a bimmer without a kidney grill?

Spoke with Carmela at BB last week, these and other two tone colorways are to drop in early May.
Big fan in Denver. I’m in Korea now but will be in Thailand by the 18th. If I can’t get these online I’m going to try and get them in Thailand at that one outlet you mentioned. i love the gum bottoms man.
