Brandblack unveiled a number of new footwear styles while displaying its upcoming collections at Man/Woman Show in Paris. Now the brand has unveiled a new silhouette: the Brandblack Kaze Trail.
While the brand did not offer a close-up look at the sneaker, it has outfitted the Kaze Trail is bold colors that pop against the monochromatic outfits the models are wearing. That makes the outfits all about the shoes, which is how many build their #outfitarchitecture (shouts to Dallas Penn and the Lo Lives).
While we never tested the Brandblack Kaze, it was categorized by Brandblack founder David Raysse as “a concept car that was put into production” because it looks just like the exaggerated sketches that footwear designers have been making for years.
The Brandblack Kaze features a tubular knit one piece sock-fit compression upper with an integrated TPU lacing system. There’s a thermo-plastic heel lock system, and a full grain leather sockliner that controls odor due to leather’s natural anti-bacteria oils. It sits atop a proprietary full-length high rebound midsole and high abrasion rubber outsole. Finally, is a TPU midfoot shank for torsional rigidity.
There is no official word yet on what the Kaze Trail will keep tech-wise from the original Kaze, but we’ll learn more as Brandblack gears up for CIFF (Copenhagen International Fashion Fair).
