BrandBlack Rocket

The Force Vector in premium white full grain Vachetta Italian leather dropped today out of nowhere, and so has the BrandBlack Rocket.

On-court or off-court, BrandBlack has you covered. These feature a classic and streamlined look while boasting premium materials. Premium nappa leather upper, full grain interior lining and insole–plus, there is a full length nitrogen based cushion system. How do they feel? I have no idea…I’ve never worn a pair. However, they look cool if you’re into this style of sneaker and they’re exceptionally nice in Black. They recommend going down 1/2 size from what you wear regularly so if you plan on grabbing a pair then there is a tip.

You can grab 4 colorways now at BrandBlack.com, along with the Force Vector, for those interested.

  1. Nightwing, do you know the main differences between the air bags between the Brandblack shoes and Nike shoes. Looking at Nike’s air-sole patent, Brandblack’s air unit also uses pressurized nitrogen. I’m just curious how other brands can use similar air bag technologies without copyright infringement.

  2. I tweeted Brandblack and they said that these run TTS. Their site says “This model runs a half size larger than sports shoes”. Will this site review them? This is one of those days that having shoes in brick and mortar stores helps a lot.

    1. I agree, but you have to let something grow. You can realistically expect a brand that is on it’s 2nd year to be picked up by every major retailer. Things need to happen organically. There was once a time when you could only get Nike’s out of the trunk of a dudes car in Oregon.

      1. You’re right. I always need a frame of reference when it comes to shoes that I can’t try on before I purchase them. I’ll wait for a product review from this site. Didn’t Bowerman sell Nikes out of the trunk of his car during track meets? I know he used a waffle iron to press the earliest molds of the first shoe.

  3. it’s incredible that there isn’t a review of these shoes anywhere! they look great and they are on sale, but i’m really interested to know about how feels their cushion set up.
