We’ve covered the sneaker extensively, and Nightwing is testing a pair now, but you all can finally get your hands on the Brandblack Delta. Brandblack is calling the Delta its “most innovative and radical shoe.” It uses the first-ever Brandblack sole designed with Vibram, a storied Italian footwear company, and a zonal engineered sock-like flat-knit upper that should offer support in targeted areas. The shoe also uses an internal support collar, a thermo-plastic heel counter, and support mat lacing system.
Available now in four colorways — black/white, black, olive/grey, and white/black — for $140, you can snag your pair at Brandblack.com.
There is also a Brandblack Delta Low coming.

What’s foam do they use for the cushioning ?
The pair on the left is on the way. Pairs 2 and 4 (skipping the green pair) will be had by the end of the year.
Just got the olive pair a couple days ago. Went down half a size and don’t regret it one bit. Looks amazing, quality is on point, and after a brief run in them at the rec, my first impressions are that they’ve lived up to the hype. Traction seems solid, not much squeak and not crazy bite, but no issues with dust or slipping. Cushion was a bit stiff at first, but felt good while in motion. No real bounce or rebound, but all impacts were absorbed completely. Didn’t feel too high up, nor particularly low to the ground, but transition was good as well.
Overall, everything seems to be there; not one category falls short, although nothing stands out as hall of fame level just yet, but just being able to rock a shoe that looks like this on court that works makes it worth the price of admission.
I am totally diggin’ these shoes. If the performance review comes back positive this may very well be my first pair of Brand Black sneakers. I’d rock em on the court and get another one for the office. They look so unique, I like em’!
Vibram sole tend to be very hard and stiff, but break in over a little time. This may be why they don’t feel like jet lon plus or whatever.
