BAIT, premium retailer of toys, footwear, apparel, and high end collectibles, bodied New York Comic Con just weeks ago with dope MARVEL collabs and now the store is gearing up for ComplexCon with legendary video game franchise Street Fighter and artist J Balvin.
Perhaps Capcom’s greatest title, Street Fighter first released in 1987 when video games were taking hold of youth worldwide. It has since become one of the most played video games ever — also one of the highest-grossing video game franchises ever — and Street Fighter II is credited with establishing many one-on-one fighting game conventions.
BAIT has placed iconic imagery from the original game on tees, longsleeves, and hoodies to create yet another bold apparel collection full of ’80s and ’90s flavor. To celebrate the holiday drop, BAIT will be hosting Columbian reggaeton singer J Balvin at its ComplexCon booth on Saturday (an exact time is TBD). J Balvin even appears on the apparel fighting Street Fighter heavyweights Ryu and Bison.
The BAIT x Street Fighter tees retail for $32 each while the hoodies are priced at $70. The entire collection will be available for purchase at ComplexCon with an online release at BaitMe.com to follow.
