Hannah was diagnosed with metastasized Bilateral Wilms Tumors (kidney cancer) at the age of 4. After completing 9 months of treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, Hannah now has no evidence of disease and enjoys reading chapter books, swimming and riding her bike. Hannah supports Cookies for Kids Cancer because of their mission of providing funding for pediatric cancer research and loves sharing her story in hopes that she will help other kids. She even created her own “cancer commercial” that now has over 150,000 views on youtube!
PRESTON
Hometown: Newport Beach, California
Preston was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 8. After missing a year of school and completing almost three and a half years of intensive treatment, Preston is now cancer free and enjoys activities like lacrosse, soccer and just hanging out with his friends. Preston is also involved in helping to raise money for pediatric cancer research through Cookies for Kids Cancer. He hopes that one day no child will have to endure what he went through and that more children will survive this disease, which is the number one cause of death by disease in children. Preston’s next fundraiser is a community bake sale in support of Cookies for Kids Cancer.

RIGHT ACTION FOR WOMEN
ROBIN
Hometown: Los Angeles, California
Robin, like millions of women, had an increased risk of developing breast cancer, as her mom and great aunt were breast cancer survivors. Knowing that, Robin was diligent in getting mammograms each year. Unfortunately, in 2012, Robin’s annual mammogram came back “abnormal” – doctors told her she had an “architectural distortion” in her left breast. After a digital mammogram, an ultrasound and a failed biopsy attempt, Robin needed an MRI and that her limited insurance would not cover it. After months of searching for options Robin remembered hearing about Christina Applegate’s Right Action for Women organization. Robin applied and was so relieved to hear she was accepted – she would finally get answer. After months of dreading and expecting the worst, the MRI results showed she was breast cancer free! The peace of mind Robin received because of Right Action of Women is something she wants other women to know about and experience.

MUHIT
Hometown: Santa Monica, California
It was 2013 and Muhit was just three weeks away from running his first marathon – it was then that he learned he had prostate cancer. Muhit, along with guidance from his friends at the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), determined his best option was to have a radical prostatectomy. Muhit persevered, running a marathon just 11 months after his operation. From there Muhit prepared for this next challenge – to join the seven-continents club – he would attempt to complete seven marathons in seven different continents in just seven months. Muhit has completed marathons in Antarctica, Greece, Peru, Kilimanjaro, and Colorado – Japan and Australia in the second half of 2015 will be his last two stops, for now! There’s no stopping him!
