Under Armour has been branching out with lifestyle offerings over the past year, and more recently it has been dabbling in offering premium footwear at affordable prices.
This is the upcoming Primo, UA’s latest lifestyle footwear offering. Shown below in three colors, the Primo offers premium materials and build sitting atop familiar tooling.
This new model is scheduled to debut this fall and Under Armour had this to say:
- The UA Primo name literally translates as First or Top Quality. It combines a familiar UA midsole with a premium leather and waxed canvas upper.
- The UA Primo is available in black, blue and grey colorways and launches in early November for $150.00 at boutiques only nationwide, including Social Status, Sneaker Politics, Concepts, BAIT, among others.

They need to switch up the tooling… I understand they like it, but it just makes the shoe look recycled to me.
I think it looks OK but I kind of agree with the post above. That tooling could be altered a bit here and there.
I’d take the black and gum in a low
UA really needs to stop re-using tooling on soon many shoes. It just looks so repetitive and when the upper is similar too, it just doesn’t look appealing since it is so similar to other shoes. Like Nike will only reuse tooling for a max of two models in a row then improves or will purposely advertise a tooling on a specific model. But, UA just keeps reusing tooling and calls it a new shoe
The only reason to get these is if you really hate having the UA logo on the side of the Curry Lux 1. That’s about it. And at that point you might as well not get this since the Curry Lux 1 is cheaper. I like what UA is doing in so far as the materials used on their lifestyle shoes, but they’re still lacking in the design department.
Also it’d be great if they used Micro G in some of these lifestyle models. Really in general it’d be nice to see more Micro G. Kind of sad that its pretty much been pushed off to the back burner.
