The Under Armour Overdrive Fat Tire may be one of the most aesthetically unappealing shoes I’ve ever seen — besides for the grotesque things Rick Owens sells for $500 and up. Now, the mountain bike-inspired shoe has become a boot.
With help from Michelin (yes, the tire company), Under Armour created a unique outsole compound and traction pattern that should tackle cross-slope grip and all-terrains. With that thick midsole, impact protection is guaranteed. The cushioning system is Charged up top, plus a softer high-rebound foam that adapts to terrain beneath it. The upper is comprised of composite textile and foam. As with many boots, there are D-rings on the eyestays for security.
I can see the Under Armour Overdrive Fat Tire being much more useful as a boot for hiking or casual wear shoe. The low top sneaker seemed…cool, but without a distinct purpose because aesthetics were not its strong suit.

Has anyone actually tried a pair of these. I’m really curious on how these fell.
I tried them on but didn’t pull the trigger — price was too much for me. They are EXTREMELY cushy. I can see why people would rock these, despite how ugly they are — they are supremely comfortable.
I agree- almost Ultraboost cushy, but even at the outlets they were $150. Nah.
